Greater Kailash is another residential area in South Delhi which includes different markets and neighbourhoods. It ranks the top in being one of the poshest places among the city. The richer and wealthier families mostly stays in this place. It is further classified into two parts- Zone 1 and Zone 2 located in the Outer Ring Road. Greater Kailash 1 was developed in the year 1960s by the private organisation called DLF when Delhi Government had allowed private construction developers to build colonies and societies. Today it has become as one of the well-off neighbourhoods including the Bollywood industry too. There are several local markets in M and N Blocks which are some of the favourite shopping destinations of the Delhites and tourists because of the wide ranges of collections and cheap. It also has a huge chain of bars, pubs and restaurants along that same line. Most of the stores here are international retails like Puma, Nike, Adidas, United Colors Of Benetton etc.
