Green Park is an expensive locality in the south district of Delhi, India. It is among one of the poshest places of Delhi. This area counts under the gradation ‘A’ of residential localities. There has been a growth of 4.4% in the locality neighbourhoods. It has a latitude and longitude configuration of 28° 33′ 0″ N and 77° 12′ 0″ E. 

This place has come into existence in the early 1960s and today is one of the desired localities among South Delhi. It is not only highly appreciated because of it’s transportation facilities but also has an existing amusement parks in it’s every block. It is still called as the ‘Lung City’ by some due to it’s greenery which makes this place stands out as one of the predominant cities of the country. It is majorly divided into two parts- the Green Park main and the Green Park extension. The main comprises of the hotels, restaurants and shopping hubs where as the extension have the residential localities. The parks and gardens throughout the city makes huge benefits for the morning walkers and laughter clubs in all areas.

The Uphaar Cinema fire is one of the remarkable tragic fire cases that had happened in the recent history of India on 13th June, 1997. During the screening of the premiere movie Border, fire got stuck which lead to 59 people losing their lives and 103 were badly injured. Green Park Delhi is surrounded on the four sides by avenues- Inner Ring Road, Outer Ring Road, Aurobindo Marg and Africa Avenue.
